After 8 years at Herber Lennart Claesson hand over to Andreas Nord who will be the new CEO of all Group companies.
Andreas Nord is 43 years old, born in Ljungby came into the business as Marketing Manager and co-owner of Herber in 2014.
The company faces many interesting and exciting challenges in the near future.
Herber has been developing and manufacturing high quality equipment for pipe bending, this strategy is fixed.
Herber got during the year a new partner in the Taiwanese family owned company SOCO.
Our first common goal is to establish SOCO European Technical Center at Herber, Värnamo.
An establishment in Germany in 2016 is the plan to get closer to the Central European market with both Herber and Socos portfolio of industrial solutions.
Lennart Claesson, President of Herber 2008-2016 will remain in the business as a partner and advisor.
SOCO Machinery Company Ltd. in Taichung, Taiwan, proudly announces that they have invested in Herber Engineering AB, Sweden, manufacturer of tube bending machines with headquarters in Värnamo, Sweden since 1945.
This investment allows for a greater focus on Europe and investment in a SOCO European Technical Center, located in Värnamo. Herber will continue to develop and market their own products and receive at the same time a very broad portfolio of SOCO's products. Herber will also market its own products through the SOCO's dealers in several countries.

SOCO MACHINERY CO., LTD INVESTS IN HERBER ENGINEERING AB
SOCO Machinery Company Ltd of Taichung, Taiwan is proud to announce their investment in Herber Engineering AB, manufacturer of tube and pipe bending machines headquartered in Värnamo, Sweden since 1945.
SOCO is the world’s largest manufacturer of CNC Tube Benders, Tube Cutting Lines and Tube Lasers, with over 500 employees and 26 worldwide branches. Herber is one of the global leading producers of CNC Tube Benders and Boiler Benders, with over 20 global agents and thousands of machines installed worldwide.
As part of the Ownership Team of Herber, SOCO will set forth to establish a SOCO European Technical Center (SETC) at Herber’s facility in Sweden. The new SETC will include a solution center to support sales and producing costumer applications and services. A permanent showroom for SOCO´s machinery program will always be available for costumers with easy access.
SETC will also include a European Spare Parts center for Soco machines to provide further quick field service capability.

The machine is a SOCO SLT 152-Fiberlaser. The machine processes up to 8,5 meter long tubes and profiles with a maximum diameter of 152 mm. This is the second tube laser from SOCO in the Nordics in a short time frame and paves the way for more quality machines from the same manufacturer. Herber is very proud to represent Soco in many important European countries with their affordable solutions within tube forming. The machine will be installed with Perforera AB in Hillerstorp during this spring.
