Herber Engineering acquires IBE Robot

Herber Engineering International AB is taking the next step in its development through the acquisition of IBE Robot Svenska AB. The acquisition strengthens Herber’s offering with expertise in resistance welding technology and automated solutions, while creating new opportunities to provide customers with a broader portfolio of products and solutions.

For many years, Herber Engineering has built strong expertise in advanced tube processing and developed solutions for customers with high demands on quality, precision and flexibility. Following a challenging period and the restart of the company, the business now has a solid foundation for continued development.

Since July 10, M Refine Group AB has been the new owner of Herber Engineering International AB, establishing the conditions for a stable and long-term restart. The focus has been on retaining the company’s technical expertise and established customer relationships, while continuing to develop the business through investments, new partnerships and strategic acquisitions.

The acquisition of IBE Robot Svenska AB marks the next step in this journey. It reflects a clear ambition to move from restart to long-term development and growth by expanding the range of solutions offered to the market.

IBE Robot brings extensive expertise in welding technology and automated solutions, including resistance spot welding and seam welding. This complements Herber’s experience in machinery, tube processing and automation. Together, the companies create new opportunities to broaden the offering, develop new solutions and deliver greater value to customers.
